Introduction

In the Streetz of Los Santos, reputation is everything — and on this game mode, your street credit reflects exactly that. Whether you're a corner hustler trying to move up, a known enforcer holding it down for your set, or a feared name in the city, your actions determine how much respect your name carries. This guide will walk you through how to earn, lose, and leverage your Street Credit to unlock new perks, commands, and status symbols within the game. Whether you’re climbing the ranks of a set, holding down turf, or building a name solo, this is how the streets keep score.

The Street Credit (SC) System is a dynamic feature that tracks your influence based on fear and respect. It determines the perks and advantages you earn in the streets and separates nobodies from real players.

This system is strictly for gang members and criminal characters. Civilians, police, and members of illegal organizations are excluded from Street Credit calculations.

Feature Overview

The Street Credit system is an integral part of the server’s gang dynamics, designed to reward active, respected players and penalize those who fall short. This system tracks your fear and respect levels based on your actions and interactions within the gang world. As your Street Credit increases, you'll unlock perks that enhance your gameplay and elevate your standing in the streets.

Street Credit isn’t just for show — it has real impact, especially when it comes to the faction gun dealer. Basic weapons like Colts are available to all members, but getting your hands on more powerful firearms—such as a Micro Uzi or Tec-9—requires a higher reputation. You'll need a minimum of 500 Street Credit to buy these advanced weapons. This setup guarantees that only trusted and well-established members can obtain the best.

As you build up your street credit, you’ll begin to notice the following gameplay changes:
  • 0-249: NONE
  • 250-499: LOSE WANTED LEVEL PERIODICALLY
  • 500-749: PAYCHECK BOOST AND HIGHER FIST DAMAGE
  • 750-998: SPEND LESS TIME IN IC JAIL
  • 999 AND ABOVE: GAIN HEALTH GRADUALLY WHEN NOT BEING SHOT
Street Credit is tracked across all gang-affiliated players, and those making the biggest impact will rise to the top. A leaderboard is available using the /mostrespected command, showcasing the highest-ranking players based on their current Street Credit. This allows the community to see who’s really running the streets and who’s gaining recognition in the Streetz of Los Santos.

There are several ways to earn or lose Street Credit, each tied to realistic in-character behavior. There's both what I'd like to consider passive and direct ways to earn street credit.

PASSIVE WAYS TO EARN STREET CREDIT (+commands)

Passive Street Credit is built through appearance, and presence. You don’t have to “do” much in terms of commands — your character’s lifestyle and look do the talking. Every paycheck, you earn additional Street Credit if you've filled out your character’s appearance slots with items that reflect a respected street image. To earn passive Street Credit, players need to enhance their character’s appearance by filling all available slots for jewelry, tattoos, and a haircut. Jewelry can be bought at in-game stores, but tattoos and haircuts must be done by other players roleplaying as tattoo artists or barbers.

  • /icstats — prompts the in-character stats of you or other players such as haircut, tattoos, etc.
  • /tattoo — allows for players with the tattoo artist role to tattoo other players
  • /tattoolist — prompts the player with a list of available tattoo options to choose from
  • /haircut — allows for players with the tattoo artist role to tattoo other players
  • /haircutlist — prompts the player with a list of available tattoo options to choose from

DIRECT WAYS TO EARN/LOSE STREET CREDIT (+commands)

Direct Street Credit is earned through your actions and how you move in the streets. Unlike passive Street Credit, this type of credit is tied to real-time behavior, gang activity, and how others respond to you. You can earn direct Street Credit by tagging turf using the /stchoose command (+20 SC) or having gang members use /giverespect to recognize your efforts (+20 SC). There's a cooldown for both of these commands to prevent farming. Street Credit is lost when you're killed (-15 SC), arrested (-10 SC), or when rival players use /givefear on you (-10 SC) — a sign that you’re being seen as weak or lacking presence.

  • /stchoose — allows players to tag up walls in their hood or enemy hoods to gain +20 respect points towards your Street Credit
  • /giverespect — allows you or other players to give each other a total of +20 respect points towards Street Credit level + $250 to the giving player (shares cooldown with /givefear)
  • /givefear — allows you or other players to give each other a total of -10 respect points towards Street Credit level + $250 to the giving player (shares cooldown with /giverespect)

this feature can also have massive additions to it where a lot more action would impact street credit, as a baseline this is just enough for people to maintain but for example inactivity or not showing up often could also be a possible impact people can face with -SC, nonetheless another thoroughly and well done guide by homie pooh
